Book Launch Diary: 1 day to go!!!!!

Tuesday was a day for catching up on housework, cat naps with Sophie, creating the free resources that accompany the book and being blown away by a message from a best friend.

I started the day (after writing my morning blog) a bit slower than normal. It was a weekday but it was my weekend. After chilling for an hour with Sophie, I motivated myself to tidy up the house and put a washing on. Then the postie delivered an unexpected message.

It was a card from my best friend since high school. As I read it, the tears fell. I wasn’t sad, I was really really happy. I think I am just a bit emotional at the moment! I can’t think why….

I am so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing kind hearted friends. I love my friends like my family. Maybe, it’s because I have a very small family. It’s just me, mum, brother (& sister in law), gran and 2 uncles. Doug’s family is very similar. Him, son, brother (& sister in law), mum and dad, 3 uncles and 1 aunt. My friends make up for the large families most other people have. When I talk about my family I am referring to my friends too.

Those you surround yourself with, really do make a difference to what you achieve in your life.  Make sure you surround yourself with those who are supporting you.

After I composed myself I sat down to skim read my book. I figured it was about time I pulled together the free resources that I refer to in the book! I just had to remind myself what I promised you…

The PDF worksheets were already done, as I use them myself. I just needed to smarten them up  a little! The audios were new to me. I do what I say in my coaching sessions and finance masterclasses but I had never done a recorded audio of them before. I was aware I was stalling though as I went for a walk in the snow!

When I came back I was ready to do them. They were done in my living room with Sophie beside me. I think I stumbled over a word at one point but hey they’re out there!

The first helps you align your 4 minds (yes you have 4!) when it comes to making a decision and it is something that requires you to have a pen and some paper in front of you. One of the PDF’s goes with this. The second audio is a meditation to help you align with your goals. I had a template in my head as to how the meditation was going to go but it kinda went in a direction of its own. I just love when that happens and I know it was meant to be like that…

I then got started on making up the gift bags for all those who have pre-ordered  a copy of the book. I had to stop Doug from stealing the small gift when he came home though! Hint: it’s edible!

After dinner I pulled all the resources together on to my sign up sheet but was having bother with the audios. I therefore decided to call it a night and ran a bath instead.

I then got an email from Eventbrite telling me I was going to a book launch on Thursday…
