    Step by step guide to filing your Tax Return

    HMRC give us almost 10 months to file our tax return yet millions of us wait until the last minute. Most start off with good intentions in April each year, but January comes around far too quickly! Yet whilst the earliest you can file your UK tax return is on the 6th of April, as an accountant, I can assure you this only happens on rare occasions and in certain situations. It can be done in 10-12 weeks though. I would highly recommend this course be undertaken closer to April than January, but it can be done at any time, so long as you have a 12-week window to allow for a much calmer experience. Therefore, if you start on the 6th of April, you'll be filing by 30th June. If you wish to wait until later in the year, you must have started by 8th November. You'll have to combine two or more lessons into one week if November has been and gone...
