I love reading and taking the time to reflect on the year gone by over the Christmas holidays. The best thing I love about it, is being able to work on my business without actually being in my business, as the office closes for the holidays.
We all need a holiday from all the ‘doing’ in our business as we can so often be busy ‘doing’ that we forget to stop and ask: Is this what I really want? Did the year go as you had planned or did you get carried away with the latest marketing strategy? Or maybe you got fearful about your finances and took action that wasn’t aligned with your 4 Minds.
One year I had an insight that I really didn’t want to be doing online courses which was something that I was starting to work on. I wanted to publish a book instead, yet I had got carried away with what everyone else was doing. Online products have their place and one day I will offer more stuff online, but my heart was in book writing.
I thankfully then came across a mentor who believed that writing the right book (one that is aligned with your business) is actually a good way to help people, just the same as an online course is. I then wrote 12 Steps to Improve your Cashflow, followed by Successful Business Minds. I am currently writing my 3rd book, Mastering the 4 Minds. However, now I have written a couple of books I am giving some attention to the creation of a few small online products that will compliment Mastering the 4 Minds because I acknowledge that not everyone reads!
