Book Launch Review: The Day After
So what does one do after a book launch?
Chill and celebrate!
I met up with Karen Williams and Sheryl Andrews to show them a little of Edinburgh. We started the day having brunch at Hendersons of Edinburgh. The fabulous vegetarian breakfast was just what I needed given I had not really eaten much over the last 24 hrs…
We then went for a walk in the rain/snow! I promised them a tour and a taste of Scotland so we had to experience that ;-).
We then wandered down the Royal Mile and got a free sample of the Scottish equivalent of Baileys. That was yummy. Then popped into Cafe Truva for something to warm us up.
After a glimpse of the Scottish Parliament Building, Holyrood Palace and Arthur’s Seat we headed back up into town to Mother India for a late lunch/ early dinner (linner?) and some prosecco :-).
The sun then decided to come out so we wandered around Princes Street Gardens.
After a Scottish boost of vitamin D we then decided to finish the day with a cocktail ;-). Â
